Mark Burger, B.Com, LL.B

Mark obtained his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of British Columbia, and has been practicing law since 1997. He practices primarily in the areas of family law, estate litigation, contract and real estate disputes, and general litigation. He is also qualified as a Family Law Mediator.
Mark’s approach is to find cost effective solutions to a client’s dispute by first engaging in negotiations, settlement conferences, or mediations. If required, Mark vigorously represents his clients in Court.
Hans H.W. Urdahl, B.A., M.P.A., J.D. Partner
Hans obtained his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University at Kingston. Called to the Bar in 2006, Hans practices in the areas of Will and Estate Planning, Estates Administration, Real Estate and Corporate law.
Ashley R. Smith, B.A., LL.B.

Ashley has a focus on real estate conveyancing, wills and estates and corporate/commercial matters. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2007 after graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with her Bachelor of Laws in 2006 and completing her articles in Victoria, BC. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Political Studies and a Certificate in Business Administration from the same institution.
Isaac Won, B.A., J.D. Associate
Isaac obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of British Columbia. He practices primarily in the areas of family law and general litigation and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2018.
Isaac’s approach is to resolve disputes without incurring the expenses of drawn-out court battles through communication and mediation. Having argued for clients in BC’s Provincial Court, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, and a variety of administrative tribunals, Isaac draws on his broad litigation experience if representing his clients in court is necessary.
Matt R. Low, B.A., LL.B. Legal Counsel
Matt obtained his law degree in 2006 and was called to the bar in 2007. Since moving to the Comox Valley in 2009, he has practiced primarily in the areas of family law, criminal defence, personal injury and general litigation.
Matt strives to find cost effective and common sense solutions for his clients whether that be resolving matters out of court or vigorously advocating for his clients in court.
Nicholas N. Sayed, B.A., J.D. Associate
Nick practices predominantly in criminal law, family law, and general litigation.
Nick is passionate about working closely and creating a strong rapport with clients. While he believes in amicably resolving issues to save clients time, money and stress, Nick is more than willing to take a case to court when necessary, having frequently appeared before both the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
